Removed the rest of the master bedroom carpet

Got a new light for Darlene’s bathroom

Got a new mirror/cabinet for Darlene’s bathroom

Got a towell rack for Darlene’s bathroom (still have to install all 3)

Pulled up all the bricks in the planters in front

Got a load of fill dirt – Thanks to Joel and Cathi for the use of their truck

Unloaded all the fill dirt

Used the bricks as a border in front

Finally removed the floor heater

Made 2 dump runs to get rid of the floor heater and the carpet (carpet & foam dumping is only $4/load!)

So like 4 or 5 years ago or so at the last rave I went to one room where I really liked the music had what I learned was drum & bass. Like 3 years ago I heard in a Borders some music I really liked. I asked at the desk what was playing and they showed me it was LTJ Bukem – “Journey Inwards”. I put it on my wish list and never got it.

This year on our honeymoon I was in a cd store and looked for it and found instead another LTJ Bukem album. Then shortly afterwards I picked up “Journey Inwards”.

Yesterday Nightfall posted about Method-One so I downloaded the mp3 files I found there and liked it a lot. (We’re talking LONG mp3 files.) Today I asked mo what else I should be getting. She told me: Dieselboy, DJ Dara, Kaos, Goldie, and Grooverider. So I went to Streetlight and picked up a geeky sounding album from Dieselboy called “The Dungeonmaster’s Guide”. I’m enjoying it muchly.

Thanks to Julie & Fish for the gift certificate for Streetlight Records. I bought No Doubt’s “Everything in Time” and Duran Duran’s “Astronaut”. I don’t know what I’ll use the remainder for yet.

Thanks for Gerald & Julianne for the “Intellivision Lives” compilation for Gamecube. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet but I’m so looking forward to a good game of Sea Battle.

Thanks to Dan for lunch at Saturn on Friday also.

And very very big thanks for Darlene for her more than generous gift for mine and Nicole’s birthday combined. Someday we’ll get there!

My lovely wife, Nicole for making me swedish pancakes this morning. Mmmmmm….

My parents for sending me the books “Yiddish With Dick & Jane” and “When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?”

My Aunt Rita for sending me the DVDs “Gross Pointe Blank,” and “Shallow Grave,” and “Schindler’s List” (when it gets here)

Nicole for getting me a book on Jewish art called “Jewish Art” and the book “Why the Jews Rejected Jesus”

My sister for sending me the DVDs “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Orgazmo” (special edition), and “Jersey Girl” which taught us both that there’s more than one Jersey girl movie

And to Dan Galpin for bringing me some Original Cinn.

Last night Nicole asked if I was going to paint. I said I might. Then she said I should do something like play video games since I’ve been wanting to play lately. I know that really she was afraid I was going to mess up the paint already done or not do a very good job, but that’s ok since I liked just sitting for awhile.
