The ribs and the chicken reheat really well in the microwave, and generally pretty fast. They don’t get tough from too much heating. That said, we’re now out of leftover ribs. Still have quite a bit of chicken though.
It could have been. We primarily needed to return the medicine cabinet that was too big for Dar’s bathroom. We didn’t have the receipt anymore and we bought it at a different Home Depot. They ran the card I put it on and scanned the UPC on the box witht eh nifty wireless remote scanner, and it instantly recognized it and credited my card!
SO! EASY! Unlike almost any other Home Depot transaction.
Then we went to look for other medicine cabinets for Dar’s bathroom and they didn’t have the smaller one in stock. Then we didn’t see any outdoor lights we liked. Then we left.
I had a dream that I built a new scooter that could go a bit faster (mostly for hills) and had a longer range. I know both are feasible, the obstacles are weight (the motor is heavy) and power (batteries are heavy too). I think I could probably double the battery capacity on my current scooter with some clever placement, but then I need a more powerful motor to drive the extra weight.
Maybe I just need to see if lithium ion batteries are feasible for a scooter application.
Anyway, a 1000W motor is probably enough for extra batteries right?
I finally watch this DVD that came with the CD soundtrack for “Revenge of the Sith.” This is a cool video! It leads you through all 6 movies by musical themes with video and bits of dialog showing each part. Each video can draw from the 6 movies and aren’t necessarily shown in the order they happen in the movies, but each clip is entertaining to watch and as a whole gives the story of the series. You can watch it with or without introductions by Ian McDiarmid.
It’s just over an hour long, check it out!
I watched Beauty and the Geek just because of the name. I was just going to watch the beginning but then I watched the whole thing. I couldn’t look away as they couldn’t answer the 5th grade questions. I couldn’t look away at the dancing.
And I had an urge to watch The Real Gilligan’s Island. Someone please help me!
The other day I was feeling like getting a Games Magazine, so I did! The End.
No, I’ve been going through it and I think I’m doing better than I used to when I was younger. Though based on some of the obscure stuff you need to pull up answers for on the easy puzzles, the hard ones will probably kick my ass.
There was bubbling in the paint. Looking on exterminator sites, this is one of the indications of termites. The painter sees no evidence and thinks that it’s from oiled wood (only want to get rid of the oil is to replace the wood). I’ll call for an inspection to see what’s up.
Yesterday we had someone come over to draw up plans for the kitchen and the master bathroom/closet. In a few weeks we’ll get to see what kinds of ideas he has in mind. He thinks it’s a tricky space. I think that’s good because people get more creative when they have restrictions on what they can do.
It was a lot of fun having my sister around and I wish she were around more often. Maybe in a few years when she gets to run her own bevmo store she can get them to open one in Santa Cruz.
