Wimbledon (the movie)
I just saw this at Julie & Fish’s house and I have to say that it was pretty good. Did you like Bull Durham and/or Tin Cup? Then you should like this movie since it’s like those except made by the English and …I won’t say. It was advertised as romance and drama, but they left out the comedy which is very unfortunate because there is a lot of comedy in this movie. The charaters are all fun and make the movie a more than just fluff.
I say check it out.
I liked this movie quite a bit… it’s a no brainer, feel good sort of movie. And it portrays tennis much more accurate than other movies! And it’s not solely a “chick flick” because I got Travis to watch it AND admit that it was “pretty okay.”
