Looks like the last paitning adventure killed the power roller. Well, I think I can bring it back if I take it apart and clean it, but I needed to do a second coat ont he living room ceiling and I can’t give my dad back a broken power roller so I got a new […]

Bathroom sink is better

I replaced the angle-stops, but then I turned the water back on the hot water valve was still leaking slightly. So I turned off the water again and tightened it another turn and now it’s fine. Buying one of each size it might be worked so now I have to return the others to OSH, […]

Bathroom tile is completed

The bathroom tile is now done and next up is the grout. On Tuesday we get the counter tops installed in the kitchen. This weekend plasterers come to finish the wall in the laundry room, the patch in the tv room, the wall in the office. Most importantly, they are going to complete the wall […]

While we were working the contractors got the tub […]

The refrigerator box

Wednesday the refrigerator box was built and that night we primered it. Then yesterday Nicole painted it purple. This morning it was put in place so when the people arrive to template the counter tops everything would be in place.

Finally some kitchen updates!

You can see some results from my painting in the kitchen. That cleared the way for the contractor to install the cabinets. Unfortunately, two of the upper cabinets were damaged and they will build us new ones. Also the trash drawer was built wrong so they need to fix that too, but that doesn’t interfere […]

Why I shouldn’t paint

We needed to get the kitchen painted this weekend so the contractor could start installing the cabinets. Nicole was sick so that left it up to me. Saturday I got the ceiling in the kitchen and dining area, and the ceiling in the living room primered. The Wagner Power Roller helped a lot since I […]

Bathroom paint

Monday the bathroom got coats of primer and we were going to paint but we didn’t make it to the paint store before they closed. So Tuesday Nicole painted the bathroom. Yay! It looks good!
